Ron Coleman’s pretty good blog

Invisible server capacity

Instapundit links to the Heritage Foundation, and …

UPDATE: Oops. The link seems to have killed Heritage’s blog — at least, it’s showing an “exceeded CPU quota” at the moment. That should fix itself soon.

“Fix itself soon”?  I’ll have to try that one with the Missus one of these days.  Wow, talk about your faith in the “invisible hand“! Well, it is the Heritage Foundation, after all…

Ron: Are you, perhaps, AHDH? Of course letting it settle down and fix itself (whatever ‘it’ is) is the first line of action! But you can’t sit around waiting forever, obviously.

My PC throws all sorts of tantrums that resolve themselves. Sometimes it takes a hard reboot, though…. BTW, I do not recommend hard reboots for spouses. Just let them keep going and they’ll straighten themselves (or you) out in due time….

I know, I know. But in fact I checked quite a bit later — still down.

Just the way Glenn expressed it tickled me.

Then again, actually, I am ADHD, probably.

That reminds me of a story.

Three engineers are riding in a car — a chemical engineer, an electrical engineer and a computer engineer. The car breaks down.

So the chemical engineer says, “It must be the gas.”

The electrical engineer says, “It must be the spark plugs.”

The computer engineer says, “I have no idea what it is. But here’s what we do — let’s everyone get out of the car and then get back in again.”

P.S. I told this joke to a room full of lawyers. Absolute freaking crickets after the punchline. Finally one of them says, “Then what happened?”

Ara, that was one worth telling.
And it made me laugh too by the way.
