I know what I am and I’m glad I’m a man and so is Mullah

A prominent Taliban cross-dresser got picked up. By NATO, that is:

Mullah Mahmood, who is accused of helping the Taliban detonate suicide bombs, was caught Tuesday in Kandahar province while wearing [a burqa,] the all-encompassing Islamic veil worn here by women, NATO said.

How did they know it was him? I can just picture those culturally insensitive NATO guys peeking up ladies’ burqas at random until they found something.

  2. I think they caught on when they saw “her” reading the sports pages.

Reminds me of how Jefferson Davis was caught disguised in women’s clothing at the close of the Civil war.

What they don’t tell you in the story is that at the time of arrest he was singing “I Enjoy Being a Girl” from Rogers and Hammerstein’s Flower Drum Song.

  5. That’s always a dead giveaway!

    I heard he was singing:

    I feel pretty
    Oh so pretty
    I feel pretty and
    witty and gay…

  7. OK, FIAR. Your sad attempt at a flaccid gag is obviously a cry for a very special kind of help. Obviously anyone under 60 who knows the words to any Broadway musical feels pretty pretty, too.

    Let’s talk.

Hell of a price to pay for SRS (sexual reasignment surgery)

Could have gone to Thailand for only a few grand, would not have had to pay an arm and a leg for it.

  10. Well among the Taliban those are not high prices at all.

He stood out. His shoes and bag were all wrong. That, or his being 6’2″ might have tipped them off.
