A judge denied bond Thursday for a part-time evangelist charged with murder in the death of his wife, a mother of eight whose body was kept in a freezer for at least three years.
Yeah, you just might want to keep this one on one of your somewhat shorter leashes, I think.

Thank goodness they got those poor kids away from him. (I’ll refrain from the obvious “Anthony Hopkins and the body in the freezer” joke… )

If he was a “part time” Rabbi and received a similar denial, there would be murmurings from the “hood” accusing the judge of anti-semitism.

OK, so I think that probably 70% of Ara’s comments are off the mark, based on ignorance maybe, or a mental block, or something that separates him from reality.
They are usually well stated, and well intentioned, I think, and never in a mean spirit. Just a bit misguided.
But this one is in the other 30%. Its totally on target, IMO.
Jeesh.
