Plain talk on Obama

Posted by Ron Coleman on May 3, 2007

All right, I’ll admit it.

Look, Obama’s playing on being a minority group member. Well, let’s face it; he is. And let’s look at that minority, shall we?

We know what they’re all about, and so do they. Very well. Their culture openly, unabashedly celebrates who they really are. Substance abuse? Check. Violence? Infamous. Hostility to Anglo-Saxon values? Not a little — a lot. Just ask any one of ’em and stay the hell clear.

Sure, they’ve developed their own language, put English to their own unique rhythm — but so subversive! They claim to commemorate their cultural heritage but they do it all over our streets. These folks are not going back, and they’re not really assimilating.

Yes, damn it, I will admit it. I say to hell with another Irish president!

You need a laugh.

If you’re anything like me today. But only at the expense of the absolutely insane. Well, then refer to “The Secret Gov’t Program For Genetically Modified Celtic/Native American Psychic Ultimate Warriors ” from Army Lawyer, via the only slightly neurotic KC.

I have met people frighteningly like this.  P.S. — the real laughs are in the comments.

Michael Godwin, call your office

Posted by Ron Coleman on March 8, 2007

Reuters:

The mayor of a small town in Germany on Thursday called on Google Earth to delete a reference to a nearby “Mount Hitler” from its geographic image service, saying it was misleading.

Andreas Wiedemann, mayor of Bad Toelz, south of Munich, said the peak near the Bavarian town had been known as Mount Hitler for a short time during the Third Reich but had been given back its original name of Heigelkopf after World War Two.

Yes, “Heigel Head” is a much better name than Mount Hitler, unless you want to attract a certain crowd. Considering that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a member of that crowd, however, I just wonder how this cuts.

In vino, veritas

Drinking it inA fetchingly earnest explanation — in late-filed papers — for missing a legal filing deadline, complete with emoticon and allusions to excess imbibing. And it worked, too. I wouldn’t try that in New York, though.

I know what I am and I’m glad I’m a man and so is Mullah

Posted by Ron Coleman on March 7, 2007

A prominent Taliban cross-dresser got picked up. By NATO, that is:

Mullah Mahmood, who is accused of helping the Taliban detonate suicide bombs, was caught Tuesday in Kandahar province while wearing [a burqa,] the all-encompassing Islamic veil worn here by women, NATO said.
